When contemporary art and heritage meet… Chemins d’Art en Armagnac (Paths to Art in Armagnac) suggests that you discover 5 sites with different exhibitions, 5 artists and 5 ephemeral works presented in well-known or more discrete places in the Ténarèze.
Strolling in Montréal-de-Gers ? Take time to discover the l’atelier d’artistes Amadieu on the corner of a lane in the bastide. Let the original and figurative works in 3D that combine engraving, painting and sculpture surprise you.
The Gascon puck or nothing !
Boules ? Here we play Palet Gascon. This traditional ancestral game is played in the village squares, the ideal spot to start competing. To play, you need 1 skittle, 2 palets (pucks) and 3 coins and a few Gascons that are proud to teach you the particular techniques of this game.
The goal of the game is to knock over the skittle with the two palets in order that the three coins that were on the skittle fall as close as possible to the palets.
If you are interested in boules, don’t worry, as you just need to go to the boules pitch to confront our aficionados.
Along the Baïse
Let yourself be carried gently along by the River Baïse. Rent a canoe at the Leisure centre (Base de Loisirs) at Gauge and potter independently to appreciate the landscapes that are revealed little by little before your eyes.

Fourcès is the ideal place to stop and contemplate: its circular square, its arcades, the tower… a truly beautiful place to visit with its splendour and calm..
Every last weekend in April, the flower market takes over the village that is adorned with a thousand colours.
From May until November, you can hunt for rare objects and old books in the flea markets.
